You’ll go back to a private examination room to watch a brief video that answers some of the top questions about chiropractic. Then, your chiropractor will introduce themself and sit down to discuss your concerns. They’ll complete a neurological and orthopedic assessment. If necessary, we can take digital X-rays on-site.

Then, it’s time for your chiropractor to do their homework and analyze your case. In doing so, they can come up with the best plan tailored to your needs. This visit takes 45 minutes to an hour.

Upon your return, your chiropractor will go over the findings from your evaluation and what the next steps are in moving forward. They’ll discuss the three stages of care:

Pain relief. We want you to get out of any discomfort you’re in.

Stabilization. In stabilizing your problem area, we prevent your issue from recurring.

Overall wellness. Now that you’ve gotten to this point let’s keep you healthy!

Once you feel informed about what we do, you’ll have your first chiropractic adjustment. This appointment takes about 45 minutes.

The duration of your subsequent visits will depend on your particular plan. You may have a form of therapy, along with an adjustment. If so, it takes about 30 minutes. Having an adjustment only will take 15 minutes.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

  • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
  • Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
  • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
  • Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-800-985-3059.
